Legal Question in Entertainment Law in California

In the 1960's we had a start up fan club i took pictures for a group with their permission-some members of that group went on to sell millions of records and to this day are very well known. all ages of people will know at least one name very well his music is used by groups today and commericals.

is there any legal reasion that i could not sell these picturs to a magz. such as people, enquire etc>???

If you've got the permission of the people depicted in the photos, it shouldn't be a problem. (*assuming the permission allows for commercial use of the images).

As the photographer, you own the copyrights in the photos, so you're free to sell them, license them, etc. Just be sure you can actually produce those permission documents if anybody complains.
