Legal Question in Entertainment Law in California

We have been advised by an atty that we need to find a form called "Release of Rights to Copy Rights". Can you please direct us to the correct form? This is involving musical contracts. Thank you. Joanne Slater

I don't believe that is a standard title to a form but you probably need a consent and release form. I would need to know the details before I could advise you specifically.

I've never heard of such a document. Your attorney probably meant an "assignment of copyright".

But be cautious. Signing such a document is equivalent to selling your ENTIRE ownership interest in the work.

Consult an attorney to advise you!
