How do I copyright my music so I can submit it to record companies?
I would like info on how to copyright my music so I can submit it to record companies, pubs, magazines, etc..? I am a solo musician.

the US copyright office is very helpful. check their website, it should have all the information you need. you can also download the necessary forms along with instructions. if you have specific questions about any of that you can post another question. please note that not all record companies accept unsolicited submissions from artists. they often require you to submit to an individual executive through a known manager or attorney.
