I am leaving an entertainment company and starting my own. Can I use the contacts I made there for my new business without getting sued?

Legally, it depends on what your agreement with the entertainment company says. If you are required to return all documents (which would include your contract) then you are breaching your contract with them by re-using their agreements.

Definitely look at the agreement you have with your current company, especially for language relating to non-competition and non-solicitation.
