Legal Question in Entertainment Law in California

public photography / sale

If I have taken pictures of people in

public, what are the laws regarding

those images?

Ideally and to the point: if I take a

picture of someone, can I then offer

to sell them that picture, i.e. via

internet? (like they do with athletes

at marathons, families at theme

parks, etc.)

Selling it to the person depicted in the photo IS legal. Selling it to others is probably not. (see my response to the other posting of the same questions)
