How can i get rights to sell artist 's ringtones

I want to start a website where i can sell ringtones from popular artists. How can i go about doing this without getting into copyright problems?

You need to purchase a license for recorded music performances from ASCAP or BMI, or if all you need is the rights to the music, for example you plan to use a cover band or MIDI, try the Harry Fox Agency.
