Legal Question in Entertainment Law in California

Script request

Was in contact with a prodcution company about one of my scripts, they like the idea, but want me to submit it with a lawyer or agent. Would rather submit with an attorney, is that something attorneys even do? Reason being, I believe an attorney could facilitate this transaction much faster.
