Legal Question in Family Law in California

How is 50/50 child custody defined in California

Hello,

I have a 18 month old son with a

lady after a three week relationship. I

filed paperwork for visitation because

she wanted to deny me visitation.

I completed six months of 6 hour

visits twice a week, then was granted

overnight visits every sunday and

monday night.

We are going back to court in the

5/14. I've done 100% of everything

the child court has asked and want

50/50 custody.

How is 50/50 custody divided in the

state of california?

Thanks for your time!

You should file for temporary orders to get additional custody. Custody is very tricky and a qualified attorney can be very useful for ensuring your needs are met.

good luck.
