Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have 67% custody of my children, but my ex won't return calls, won't allow girls to call me, keeps his phone number from my knowledge and also allows his girlfriend to control when, if, how, , etc.... that I can see them. I have been denied the right to see them since January 2010. His girlfriend has filed false reports against me, has made up lies about me, and also has refused to allow me to see or call my children. What do I do? Do I call law and have them go get my children. Or do I have to go get them by myself?

Call the local law enforcement for the jurisdiction. Tell them that you are going to go enforce a child custody order and where you are going and when. Ask for a "civil standby." Then show up with a copy of the order showing you are supposed to have the kids.

Once you have the kids, file an OSC re: Contempt of the order, and for a modification of the order to specifically state your right to a phone number, communication, etc.
