Somebody help me please!
i have 50/50 custody of my 3 kids w/ father. he has primary cust. he has record of drug arrest, child abuse,(they let him off w/ warning)has not worked for @ least 5 yrs. recently, there was sexual abuse in his home, involving also 2 of my kids.(14 & 9 yrs.)dependancy court closed case 12/07. judge will not touch existing orders, & left my 15yr old under DCFSS custody & both 11 & 9yr olds w/dad.i would like to go very well prepared back to family court, any ideas?

To be fully prepared for a court hearing would require reviewing the entire juvenile court file and the family court file. The fact that the juvenile court judge did not remove the children from father will make it very difficult to convince the family court to change custody. You will not get sufficient information from the internet to be of help to you.
As a general rule family court looks to the best interests of the child. The court gives considerable weight to how the child is doing at the present time. If the child is doing okay the court is reluctant to make a change.
