Legal Question in Family Law in California
My ex has 26% custody with overnight visits during school week. We were ordered to take child to therapy regulary and he only took her to 1 session 2 years ago. Child has built up anger towards father and drew pictures of hanging father and cutting up his pictures to spell out I hate him. On top of that, father failed to seek medical attention when child broke her finger in his care while under someone elses' supervision since he was napping, he has kept her home from school a number of different days because he didn't want to get up or couldn't find clothes for her, he failed to have her do homework assignments for at least 3 months straight when she is in his care, and when he becomes angry with child he threatens her that he will take her away from me if she doesn't act the way he wants her to and that I am crazy and askes her questions about my personal life. Finally, he is living in an environment with individuals who have a drug dependency history and violent tendencies. Would this be grounds for a change in child custody?
