Back child support can be collected for up to three years back, but the right to support ended when you turned 18, or will end when you graduate from high school. Each day after that the clock ticks away one day of back support that can be collected. This is all assuming your mom never got an order for support that your dad has just been ignoring. If there is an order you can collect anything not paid that is due under the order. You should contact the family law facilitator or self help clinic in your local county court and see if they can help you file the necessary papers yourself to save money. If you feel it is more complicated than you can handle, once you talk to the self-help people, then you should contact an attorney.
