Legal Question in Family Law in California

In 2002 I gave my sister a noterized letter, giving her temp. custody of my three children. Then in 2004 she petitioned the courts for Gaurdianship stating she had no idea where I was.( which was a total lie) I have pics, documents, etc.. to prove i was in contact at all times. But the court granted the gaurdianship without informing me. what can i do to change this order, and make sure my sister is punished for the laws she broke?

The best approach is to file a request to terminate the guardianship. You have a right to have the court hear the reasons the guardianship is flawed and should not be in place. You should also have a plan to present to the court on having the children returned to your care.
