You need to discuss the facts of your case with a family law attorney to obtain advice about your options. A court should consider support for all of your natural or adopted children when making a child support order. However, the court will also consider the other parent's obligation to contribute to the support of the children.
California has a child support guideline that takes into financial consideration other children you're obligated to support or live with you. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney to assess your legal options.
