Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a 9 month old daughter. Her father has seen her 6 times for about 15 minutes each time. He refuses to take paternity, pay child support. He has recently moved 300 miles away and has told me not to contact him again. I am attempting to gain full legal and physical custody of my daughter in court. What should I know and do before I present my case to the judge? (Court in August). Thanks for your time.

When you say he refuses to take paternity, has he been subpoenaed and refused? Have you consulted with your local Child Support Services office? Maybe they can help. Here is the website:
