Legal Question in Family Law in California

i have a 15month daughter and my husband is not the biological father but he signed the birth certificate... i filed for her name change and i need to know if that relinquish my husband rights to my daughter?

No. In fact, unless the biological father steps forward and asserts paternity very soon, your husband will permanently be deemed the legal father for life, regardless of biology. Your husband cannot relinquish his parental rights unless it is to the biological father or if you divorce and remarry and your husband adopts your daughter with your current husband's consent.
