Legal Question in Family Law in California
2nd child custody evaluation
after the SECOND evaluation came out in my favor, my ex-husband still insists on taking our case to trial and litagating.
my question is: he can afford this.
it would literally BREAK me financially.
could he be ordered to pay my legal fees?
or could the judge even strike his request?
thank you

He does have a right to have the decison made by a judge and not an evaluator, but you do have a right to request attorney's fees.

He has a right to bring his case to court. You also have a right to be represented and he could be ordered to pay for that attorney, before the trial. Seek some assistance quickly. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
