Legal Question in Family Law in California
I have 100% physical & legal custody but divorce is not final, can I move out o
I was granted 100% physical and legal custody of our two children by a Domestic Violence Court. The DV order also includes a support order and ''visitation as agreed between parties.'' (That is the exact wording.)
The divorce was filed after the DV order and is not final and has no vistation or support orders yet. I want to move with children to Arizona, is this illegal due to the dissolution having been filed ?

If you have legal and physical custody of the children, you may to move to Arizona, however, the California Court could order you to return, as they will retain jurisdiction, that is not probable, but possible. The safe procedure is to get father's written permission or request the court's permision to move.
