Legal Question in Family Law in California

1) What's the process for taking an ex-husband back to court to have a child support order modified based on 1) his increased income over past 8 years and 2) a significant reduction in his timeshare percentage?

2) At what age can a child decide they no longer want to follow the visitation schedule resulting in a reduced share for one parent?

To take your husband back to court you would simply have to file a motion to modify child support. You can cite to the changed circumstances with his increased income and the change in the custody time share. A family law facilitator in your local court house can help you get the cirrect forms to fill out.

Please contact a lawyer in your area before taking any legal action.

Good luck.
