Legal Question in Family Law in California

There was $30,000 set aside by the court 13 years ago sitting in an account "owned" by me, the "custodial parent". I haven't drawn on that account but my child will be turning 18 and going to college next year. When filing form FL-300 am I asking for back child support, or property control of the account which is in my name but the bank will not let me access without a court order.

The answer to your question depends on the wording of the paperwork that was used to setup the account originally. Without a review of those papers it is not possible to answer your question.
