Legal Question in Family Law in California

I'm 12 weeks pregnant. What do I do if my ex gets a restraining order on me? For the past almost 3 weeks, I've called my ex a total of 3 times and texted him once. All those times I was polite and civil, just nicely asking him if we could please talk about this. I've seen him twice at his work, which is my old job at the local zoo. I've been taking my daughter there once a week for over a year, and he knows that. Today he flipped out on me because I gave him an envelope with a legal letter from my lawyer and some forms that will be filed soon if him and I cannot handle this privately. I had CVS test done because of health problems. I now have the unborn childs DNA and I just want a paternity test. Well, he flipped out, and said I was stalking him. He followed me around, threatening to have me kicked out of the Zoo, but he couldn't give me a reason why. he acted like he was calling a security guard to come kick me out, but I know he wasn't. I used to work there, and I know how the radios work, he wasn't calling anyone. On my weekly trips with my daughter, when i do see him, I don't talk to him, and usually walk away. Last week he actually said "Hi" to me, but I ignored him. He's now saying he's going to the courts tomorow to get a restraining order on me. Can he really do that? Did I do anything wrong. He's never told me to leave him alone until today. He's never complained about me to anyone at his work. Nothing. If he does get a restraining order granted, what do I do then? Please help!

This is not my area of the law. I notice that your question has the date of 11/2 on it and you say that the hearing is "tomorrow", but your question was not posted until 11/7. So I assume the hearing is over and he was unsuccessful. You should ask your attorney what to do, but you can also post questions on this site if you need to.

Good luck.
