Legal Question in Family Law in California

My 14 year old daughter lives with her father and he has custody.My daughter has called me numerous times saying her father emotionally is abusing her and shes scared of him.Now she is threatening to runaway and come to my house.I have told her not to do that,but she still keeps threatening to.What should i do if she does?and what will happen if she did? thank you shannon

Emotional abuse leaves the same if not greater scars than physical abuse. Time to re-evaluate your daughters well being. First, try to talk to your ex about the situation. If that fails, a return to court on a motion to modify custody and visitation is the obvious next step.
