i am 26 year old male and i have a baby with my ex girlfriend who is 17 years old. she does not want to have our daughter and decided to give her to me. i want to know if i can get in trouble for having sex with a minor when i file for costudy.

Possibly, but not likely. You committed statutory rape, but to my knowledge that crime does not get prosecuted unless the minor or the minor's parents file a complaint. You should probably check with a criminal defense attorney to be sure, though.
