16 year old wants to talk to judge

I went to a self help class at court yesterday to help with my response to OSC mod. in custody papers i was served. She said I could bring son to court and ask the judge if he is willing to let son say where he would like to live. Been in court for custody 13 of his 16 years.went to mediation already
