Legal Question in Family Law in California

22 years ago my daughters father and I got divorced. She was 1 at the time we went to court regarding child support and were to go back 6 months later to discuss child support. During that time he was arressted and went to prison for 6 years. His law firm continued and he was still generating an income. While I was sole support of my daughter at 13 I located him and filed a order with the DA. He stated that if we could come to a compromise he would settle out of court from 13 to 18 he paid. Do I get any back child support from the time she was 1 to 13?

You can't get back child support, unless there was a court order at that time for him to pay child support.
