13 years old want to leave his mother

i have an 18 old son that live with me. the other son on 11-8-2006 he completed 13 years. the court gave him to his mother. the question is my 13 years old want to disobey the court order and come and live with his bother and i, I try to change his mine, but he his determine, if i accept him, will i be in legal trouble?

You need to go to court to get a modification of the current court order. This is an important issue and you should have an attorney. The court will listen to the desires of the 13 year old. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

If mother is willing to talk you could enter into a written agreement changing custody, which would be sent to the court for the judge to sign. This agreement is a stipulation.
