Legal Question in Family Law in California

Together 5 years, never married, he files for bankruptcy

Hello,

I was with my fiance for 5 years. Within those years we purchased a vehical and a debt consolidation loan jointly. After a breakup last year everything was going fine, until he filed for bankruptcy. I got stuck with the vehical and the loan. He still has in his possesion the computer, couch, sterio equip. that the loan paid off. What can I do? I am not greatly in debt.
