Legal Question in Family Law in California

im 18 years old and recently got away from my abusive aunt. im living with my grandma now and im still a senior in high school. my aunt refuses to take her address off my schools' contacts paper since shes the one that registered me for school when i was 17. can she still legally take me out of school to go live with her again even though im 18 since the school has her name and address and not my grandmas?

No. Once you are 18, you are an adult and can live where you choose.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. Once you are 18 you are considered an adult. You can go to the school and update the contact information yourself.
