Legal Question in Family Law in California

17 yr old boy, 19 yr old girl, baby on the way. Will the boy be responsible for child support?

Is this statutory rape? If so, can something be filed with the court/police without a hearing, just to protect the boys future?

Yes hi will be responsible for child support. It is unlikely that the police or district attorney will take any action against her.
