Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have an 8yr old child with my ex, we adopted her at birth. She is attempting to move out of the USA, and taking my child with her. I have already filed with the courts to stop the relocation, and I have refused to sign for a passport. It is a Hague Convention Country, however once the door is open and the passports are issues she will be able to take my child anywhere in the world without my knowledge.

My ex has prevented visitation and communication in the past. We have court ordered visitation and I have filed contempt charges in the past. I believe that I will not see my child again if this move is approved.

However, I am preparing myself for the realization that the court will approve the move. I am also trying to prepare myself for the realization that I will not see my child again after this move. Will I be able to terminate my parental rights in the event that my child is a victim of parental kidnapping? I prefer to have my child live in the USA, and to continue to be her parent, but I do not want her to disappear, me to have zero contact and to continue to pay child support.

Your zip code is in Alaska but you posted your question in California. This kind of thing varies state by state. You have to ask it in the right state to get an answer that is worth anything.
