Legal Question in Family Law in California

My 16 yr old child is violent and dangerous! She terrifies our whole family. We are not safe!! She throw knives, punches people, door and walls. What can I legally do to stop it?

Your child may have both behavioral and physical medical problems that are driving her troubling behaviors. You need to consult with a juvenile law attorney. You may need to have your child determined to be a ward of the juvenile court under Welfare and Institutions Code Section 600. Before you take this route you want to consult with local legal counsel who are familiar with the juvenile courts in your community.
