Legal Question in Family Law in California

My 6 yr old daughter sleeps with her dad in the same bed as he lives in a studio apt. I have no concerns whatsoever but more curious to know if that is legal or illegal?

If there is a court order requiring that the child have her own bed, then father is in violation of that order.
