Legal Question in Family Law in California

14yr relationship we agreed I wouldn't work and I would stay at home. He promised if either of us wanted to leave he would make sure I had a car and money to get back on my feet. He claims me on taxes and says I have nothing. I clean home, cook and live like we are married do I have any rights.?

If you did not perfect your relationship in a domestic partnership or marriage, you are not legally entitled to spousal support. There maybe other financial and property issues that need to be addressed so please meet with an experienced family law attorney to explore your options.
