Abandonment fo responsibility
If my sons father and I have joint custody, and I have primary custody. How long can he go without paying child support and without contacting me or my son before it is considered abandonment? Also once it is considered abandonment what happens to the joint custody?

Re: Abandonment fo responsibility
Child abandonment allows the court to terminate parental rights, generally to allow the child to be adopted. Nothing occurs without someone filing a motion with the court requesting the change.
