abortion rights

I had an abortion. I payed for it on my own and told my ex that he needs to pay. He sayed that he doesnt have to. Does he have to pay?

You should have demanded payment before the abortion. Then you could have threatened him with the possibility of paying future child support.

Assuming that he is the father, then you could argue that this was an uninsured medical expense and he should pay half. However the cost of going to court to collect would exceed 1/2 the cost of the abortion.
