abusive partner won't leave

unmarried daughter owns house, bills in her name, emotionally, physically abusive & alcoholic partner wont leave, threatens to ''damage'' the house if she changes locks, he was arrested for domestic violence (she didn't press charges) but she wants him out ASAP. He owes her $14K on CCs which he will probably never repay. what can she do?

She should contact an attorney and apply for domestic violence restraining order and an order that he immediately move out. She can have the police serve the restraining order and move him out. Then she can change the locks. If there is another incident of domestic violence she should insist that he is arrested and request an emergency restraining order.
