Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am acting In Pro Per for my divorce case. I am processing a Moore Marsden calculation for the house. I need the information about how much was owed on the property at the time of marriage. Can I subpoena the lender for this information or do I subpoena my ex?

Thank you.

You don't subpoena the other party. You simply serve discovery to your ex asking for this information. If your ex is represented, the attorney for your ex is the one who is actually served.

You follow that up by subpoenaing the lender's information, but you may have to comply with the consumer records act.
