Legal Question in Family Law in California

What is the Acuivilant of a California supirior court in N.Y.

No one seems to know this and it is the answer I need to get my sons birth certificate.He is almost 4 he was born in SanDiego county Ca.he was a homebirth and they are putting us through hell. We almost have it but we need the answer to this question.

The equivalent court in NY is the NY Supreme court.

Your son's home birth should have been registered with California' Department of Vital Statistics or Department of Health.

The Courts do not generally retain or control birth certificate processing. Although, the Courts do control the " names on the birth records" and the application of State Agency regulations concerning vital records, re birth, death and so forth.
