How do I get my name added as the father on a birth certificate that has another father listed in the state of california?

There is no simple fix. You have to establish that you are the father. That means filing a paternity action and obtaining a judgment that determines that you are the and the person named on the birth certificate is not. Then you can obtain an amended birth certficiate.
