Legal Question in Family Law in California

New Address notification

I am planning on moving next week to a bigger house in the same area. I currently have joint legal custody with a small amount of visitation only in CA. I live in another state and do not want to tell my ex that I have moved. She's obsessed with me and has hired several PIs to take pictures of me and my family. Do I have to notify her of my new address? Thanks.

Re: New Address notification

The other parent generally has the right to know your address if the child spends any time at your address. Otherwise, she need not know your address, but should have at least a phone number so she can contact you in the event of an emergency. Also, you will need to file a change of address form with the court for service of legal documents. You can use an attorney's address or a Post Office Box Number.
