An adult adoption if very simple. What county do you reside in. You can do it yourself but the paperwork and procedure is a little difficult. I can help you with the paperwork and have you do the filing and appearance at the court house for a very reasonable fee regardless of what county you live in. email me and I will give you more information.

Because he is an adult, he would have to consent to the adoption. Start first by obtaining his consent. An adoption agreement needs to be drafted and a petition filed with the county. A hearing is required in which the parties must attend. Family Code Section 9320 et. seq. is the applicable statute.
