Legal Question in Family Law in California

adoption

My issue is that i am an illegal immigrant, as well as both of my parents. I am a High School Senior in excellent academic condition, and next year i will be going on into the real world. However, i do not have a Social Security Number, meaning i can't drive, or get a job. I was wondering, if i get adopted (say, by one of my uncle's who happens to be a citizen), could i become a citizen? Thank-you for your time.

Re: adoption

This question should be referred to an attorney with experience in emigration law. However, based on my limited experience, it is unlikely to be successful, this expecially if you are over 18, which would make you an adult.

At 18, you will need to obtain citizenship in a legal manner. Contact an attorney that specializes in immigration law.
