Legal Question in Family Law in California

Adult Dependency

Hello! My question is that my parents are really very very strict. I am still under their care and rules. I am an Adult Female, 32 years old. I have always been growing up dependent because my father is too strict on me. They have some problems due to health and I am worried that my parents will die soon. My grandma also lives with us and I take care of her a lot. I will need to learn how to be independent because I can't stay in my parents' house all my life. I want a family soon and I am not even allowed to do that. They always make a lot of excuses when I want to do something for my life and be independent. I really want a decent life and living with my parents, I cannot do that. Is there anyway anybody could help?

Re: Adult Dependency

I would need to know more about your situation. Are you under a guardian/conservatorship? What is the reason if you are? Are you mentally and medically able to take care of yourself?
