I am assuming you are in California. In what context are you thinking? it sounds like you are considering something other than a family law context? If your thinking breach of contract or breach of promise, my understanding is the California Courts have denied such causes of action. If you are wondering what your options are as a spouse? you have a lot. You and your spouse could try counseling, talking it out, or seperation, legal seperation, or a dissolution. Your question is somewhat vague as to what you are thinking about and as to what you would like to know.
