At what age can the child of divorced parents decide whom they wish to live with.

The certain answer is when the child reaches the age of majority and the court loses jurisdiction. Age of majority is 18 or up to the age of 19 if still in high school. A recent legislative enactment allows the court to let the child express his or her wishes at age 14. The judge has full discretion on wether or not to allow this and this determination is made from the backdrop of what is in the child's best interests.
