Re: What age can a child say no to visitation

A child cannot say no to visitation. When he is an adult he can say no, which is age 18. Otherwise if there is a problem you should seek a modification of the current court order. The court will consider the desires of a child at all ages. The older the child the more weight the judge will give his desires. A family law attorney who does custody litigation should be consulted and can give you a more complete opinion. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
