Legal Question in Family Law in California

Agreement of assets between both parties

What kind of agreement/document will be excepted by the court? I have a 401k and we have a property with equity in it. We would like to split it down the middle with a 3 year period to by each other out. He cannot qualify for a loan in his own name at this time therefore I cannot sign a quit claim deed. There are no debts to be split and both parties agree to waive alimony/child support.

Re: Agreement of assets between both parties

You need a Marital Settlement Agreement. You should hire an attorney to draft one for you since you have enough assets to make the expense worth it.
