Legal Question in Family Law in California

Ailmony/QDRO

I have been divorced for almost a year in default, Calif .No child support involved. Ex was ordered to pay alimony and attorney fee, presently owes over $ 10.000, he left somewhere.

I also have a qualified QDRO, 50%. My question: Can I use this QDRO for withholding (earnings assignment order) support and do I have to wait until he retired?

I hope someone can help me

thanks
