Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am in the Air National Guard and my separated wife took me to court to get a support order since i was being deployed. The court granted the order but I was only deployed three days before being sent home with a medical issue. I was only on military orders for 5 days and it was prior to the day that the order was effective. My question is do I still have to comply with the support order since I am not deployed and do I have to pay the amount until I get a hearing to explain my situation.

Yes you must comply with the order until you have it modified by the court. You should file that request for a modification immediately as it will be retroactive only until the date that you file. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
