California law provides for child support and spousal support to be calculated using an officially approved computer program. Some where in the family code the factors to be considered are set forth, but it is quite complex and difficult to follow. Contact the local family court clerk and ask about the availability of a computer with the support program. If the local court does not have one that is available to the public, search the internet for a site that offers that service. The law controling deductions etc is quite complicated. You need the help of an attorney to determine the income and any allowable deductions.
